Achadas da Cruz Cable Car was inaugurated in February 2003 descends 490m/1607ft to a secluded rocky beach. This not so well known cable car is mainly used by local people for agriculture and lapas(limpets) fishing. The exhilarating ride down the cliff face has got to be one of the most vertical wire rope rides in Europe. A Must do! |
